The end of kitchen waste with Bonter
Every kitchen tells the same story. Food scraps go into a soggy bag or into a nasty container outside. It's a compromise we've all silently accepted.
Bonter was designed to rewrite that story. We believe you shouldn’t have to compromise on a clean home to live sustainably. The problem isn’t the food scraps, but the outdated system for dealing with them. Bonter introduces a new system. By containing and transforming waste right where it’s created, it eliminates the daily friction. It’s the simple relief of a solution that is as elegant as it is effective.
Ease without compromise
Sustainability only works when it feels natural. We design systems that remove friction, turning small actions into effortless habits.
Design with purpose
Thoughtful design and durable materials that earn their place in your home. Meant to be in sight, not hidden away.
Powered by nature
We trust the oldest recyclers on earth: worms. A quiet, natural process that works without electricity, noise, or heat.
Changing mindsets
Waste is not waste; it is a resource. We help shift how people see food scraps and make giving back a simple daily act.

We’re here to make sustainability second nature
I’m Mats, founder of Bonter. I’ve always believed sustainability shouldn’t be a chore, but my own experience told a different story. Like many living in apartments, I had no good solution for food scraps besides the regular trash. After searching for an option that was both practical and beautiful enough for my home—and finding nothing—I started Bonter. My mission is to create the tool I wish existed: one that makes composting an elegant, effortless, and natural part of modern life.
